Thanks to all the faithful people
who have given to our work – either from their personal income or through a grant-giving institution. You know who you are and the staff and volunteers of Youth Initiatives are so grateful for your kindness to the many YI young people who have benefited from your support.
Personal Giving
Regular monthly donations from individuals who believe in our work have been especially crucial to YI’s sustainability since 1991. The message from YI to you our ‘silent supporters’ is that your generosity makes a huge difference to allow us to do the kind of youth work that is successful!
The current need (April 05) for individuals to commit to regular giving:
• As Youth Initiatives’ work has expanded to include 7 distinct and diverse youth projects, the level of individual giving has not increased at a similar rate.
• Just 15 new people giving £ 20 a month could cover the running costs of one of the lower-budget projects at Youth Initiatives
• If you are not a supporter yet - we need your help to do youth work, which awaken s hope and inspire s initiative across areas of need in Belfast

As the Director of Youth Initiatives, I want to say thank you again to all of you who are supporting this life changing work. Your support over the years has been invaluable and is greatly appreciated.
YI has been able to gain funding for most of our eight youth workers and my Director role, but needs help in funding some of our youth work costs and our critical admin and fund-raising staff who facilitate our youth work, without whom the projects cannot move forward. It is a critical time for us to find support for these workers.
